Free gluten hotels in Spain: Fuerte Hoteles has a new especial menu
At Fuerte Hoteles we always take the needs of all our guests into account, which is why we have launched a new special menu for guests with gluten intolerances.
It seems that everyone knows someone who has to worry about finding gluten free hotels whenever booking a holiday; here we have the solution. Restaurants at our hotels now have varied menus that offer adapted fine cuisine where the best gastronomy of the most privileged destinations in Andalusia can be enjoyed: fish, meats, salads and delicious desserts all feature on our gluten free menu.
The so-called Coeliac disease basically consists of a permanent intolerance to gluten, a protein contained in cereals like wheat, barley and rye, etc. When an intolerant person consumes gluten, regardless of the quantity, it can have very unpleasant consequences.
However, there is no reason why a gluten free diet should be boring. Rice, maize, millet, quinoa and buckwheat are just some of the cereals and seeds that do not contain it. These can be made into bread and allow for culinary creations that are more than a match for those using cereals with gluten.
Aware of the special sensitivities of people unable to consume gluten, the Fuerte Hoteles kitchen team has designed a special menu that meets all requirements of the Spanish Federation of Coeliac Associations (FACE in Spanish), both in terms of composition and traceability of the products used, as well as, no less important, the process used to create the range of dishes making up our gluten free culinary offering.
Special flours, pastas and pastries with FACE certificates and stamps are used in the preparation of our range of dishes that make up our gluten free culinary offering for those suffering from Coeliac disease. Furthermore, members of our kitchen team have been given appropriate training to avoid contact with food containing gluten during the preparation of dishes that feature on the gluten free menu.
From now on, gluten intolerance will no longer stop you from getting the most out of our culinary options and a few days of relaxation in Marbella, Estepona, Torrox, Conil, Grazalema or El Rompido.
